Abstract

It is evident that the management of Islamic education has become independent from general management since the establishment of madrasah and pesantren in the 20th century. Madrasah and pesantren have played a significant role in improving the advance of management as well as developing their own institutions. as in the case of Madrasah Terpadu (integrated madrasah). The management of the madrasah is carried out by integrating administration, curriculum, and infrastructure. as well as their empowerment into a single unity. The integration is done by using all human and non-human elements of the madrasah efficiently and effectively in order the goal of education that has been formulated based on al°Qur'an and hadits could be attained.
