The test consists of one kind of test which is writing test. The analysis of the data showed whether the data includes in non-parametric data by testing the homogeneity. Then, to test the hypotheses, the researcher uses Wilcoxon formula by SPSS version 16.0. The result of the calculated data within the value of Zcount is -4.881 and the significant value is shown 0.00. It means that 0.00 is < ɑ (0.05). Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between pre-test and post-test or there is significant difference between before and after being taught by using picture series media. The mean score of pre-test was 16.4516; meanwhile the mean score of post-test is 20.3871.
