Abstract

The thesis entitled "Development Dart Board Media to Increase Science Learning Outcomes of The Class II at SDK Al Akbar Karanggayam Srengat Blitar" was written by Siti Khumairo ' Yuli Al Manik with Promoter Prof. Dr. H. Achmad Patoni, M.Ag and Dr. Jazeri, M.Pd Keywords: Development, Dart Board Media, Science Learning Outcomes This research is motivated by the learning outcomes of science wich have minimum completeness criteria (KKM) and less of knowledge captured by students in the process of learning science. The cause of the problem is less innovative Teacher in learning, so learning activities feel boring. Therefore, theme “developing the dart board as a medium for learning science to improve science learning outcomes is an innovative step by researchers to solve the problem”. The research problems in this thesis are: (1) How is the process of developing the dart board as a learning medium to improve the learning outcomes of class II science at SDIT Al Akbar Karanggayam Srengat Blitar ?; (2) What is the feasibility of dart board media in improving student learning outcomes in class II science subjects at SDIT Al Akbar Karanggayam Srengat Blitar? The research approach used in this thesis is Research and Development (R & D) because this research is used to produce certain products and test the effectiveness of these products. The process or step of the research is as follows: 1. Selection of schools, 2. Potential and problems, 3. Data collection, 4. Product design, 5. Expert validation tests, 6. Product revisions, 7. Field trials. The data collection techniques using interviews, observation, tests, and documentation. The test is used to obtain student assessment data before using the media dart board and after using the media dart board. While observations and interviews are used to explore data about the process of learning science, responses of students, and the situation of students. Based on the results of the analysis of the dart board development as a science learning media the researcher concluded that the dart board as a learning media is feasible to use, according to the results of data analysis of media quality components that obtained an average score of 81.46%, the component of media presentation feasibility scores average 75.00%, on the overall appearance of the average score of 87.5%, the influence of media use gets an average score of 80%. Then for the influence of the use of media dart board on student learning outcomes class II-B shows the percentage of completeness by looking at the comparison before and after using the media dart board that is before treatment with dart board media is 8.33% so there are 91.6% of students who have not complete. But after getting treatment using the media board dart increased to 87.5% and of course 12.5% of students categorized as incomplete.
