Keywords : Correlation, Parents’ Educational Background, Parents’ Involvement, Students’ Achievement Achievement of students can be influenced by such factor as parents’ educational background. Parents are the first persons who educate their children. This study tried to know whether there is or not a correlation between Parents’ educational background especially parents’ involvement and the students’ English achievement. The formulation of the research problem is “ Is there any correlation between parents’ involvement and the English achievement of the second year students of MTs Darul Huda Wonodadi Blitar?.” Regarding formulation of the research, the purpose of this research was to investigate the correlation between parents’ involvement and students’ English achievement. The hypothesis of this study is that there is a positive correlation between parents’ involvement and the students’ English achievement. In this study used correlation quantitative research method. The population of this study consisted of all the second year students of MTs Darul Huda Wonodadi Blitar in the fourth semester 2018/2019. There were three classes of the second year students that consisted of 120 students. The sampling technique was done by purposive sampling. The sample of this study consisted of 20 students. This study used questionnaire to get the data of the parents’ involvement and school report to get the data of the students’ English achievement. The analysis of data was based on the Spearman Rank Correlation of SPSS 16.0. The result of this study showed that there was positive correlation between parents’ involvement and the English achievement of the second year students’ of MTs Darul Huda Wonodadi Blitar. The value of rcount = 0.587 > α = 0.05. Based on the category of coefficient correlation, rcount = 0.587 mean that the correlation between parents’ involvement (X) and students’ English achievement (Y) was categorized “enough correlation”. So, the higher of parents’ education, it more influence on students English achievement.
